Psalms 126: 1-6 (NIV)

(1) When the LORD brought back the captives to Zion, we were like men who dreamed. (2) Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, "The LORD has done great things for them." (3) The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. (4) Restore our fortunes, O LORD, like streams in the Negev. (5) Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. (6) He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.

Zechariah 12: 9-11 (NIV)

(9) On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem. (10) "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. (11) On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. (NIV)

Genesis 12: 1-3 (NIV)

(1) The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. (2) "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. (3) I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

In the midst of renewed aggression against the tiny nation of Israel in the past few days (July 15-18, '02), I was again reminded by the God I serve that His patience is about exhausted. The DAY of the LORD is upon all who love and serve Jesus Christ and the redemption of man is almost complete! The harvest is ready for reaping! Where are we, church? We should be busy in the harvest! This is a time when all mankind is being wooed by the Holy Spirit to decide once and for all to follow the Lord God of Israel. Jew, Gentile, Church of God (1 Cor 10:31) let us lift up our hands and get ready to usher in the reign of Jesus Christ!

As Pastor of Marblemount Assembly of God, I feel a distinct calling to do all I can to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with every creature. I urge you to call upon the Lord today! This is the day of your salvation!
